Icrus, or Ike to his friends, knew that he wanted to make films from a very young age. Thinking back, he’d say that it was the moment he first saw Superman take flight. There he was, seated on his mum’s lap at five years old, crammed into the front row of his neighbourhood repertory cinema, The Towne Cinema in Ottawa, awestruck and dumbfounded that people actually COULD fly.
Fast forward to his adult years, a slightly older and very much wiser Ike finally realised how Superman was able to fly. Over the last two decades Ike has amassed experience as a Writer, Director, and Producer of his own short films, and has even done some work as a Cameraman for film and live television. He also has over ten years of post-production experience as Post-Coordinator and Post-Supervisor. In the last seven years Ike has delivered nearly 600 episodes of various television shows for broadcasters such as CBC, Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., Treehouse, CBeebies (BBC for kids), and PBS amongst others.
Bringing a broad range of knowledge and nerves of steel to the table, he was approached by Peter to join Atomic Park as a Producer.
